Vernon is situated in the heart of the North Okanagan and is conveniently intersected by Highways 1, 6 and 97. A city of nearly 40,000 (greater Vernon's population is approximately 58,000), Vernon is easy to reach by both land and air. It's an easy 46-kilometer drive south to the Kelowna International Airport and is only 441 kilometers to Vancouver and 556 kilometers to Calgary. Vernon is also home to the Vernon Regional Airport, a Greyhound bus station, and various charter companies that can help meet your transportation needs.
