All Roads Lead to Greater Vernon

 

Vernon is situated in the heart of the North Okanagan and is conveniently intersected by Highways 1, 6 and 97. A city of nearly 40,000 (greater Vernon's population is approximately 58,000), Vernon is easy to reach by both land and air. It's an easy 46-kilometre drive south to the Kelowna International Airport and is only 441 kilometres to Vancouver and 556 kilometres to Calgary. Vernon is also home to the Vernon Regional Airport, a Greyhound bus station, and various charter companies that can help meet your transportation needs.

  • The Kelowna international Airport is located 46 km south of Vernon and provides national and international flights daily. Several airlines fly in and out of the Kelowna International Airport, which serves all the communities within the Okanagan Valley.
