    The Vernon Curling Club was first established in 1931 and, as such, boasts a tradition of curling and social activity.     The Vernon Public Art Gallery is an important part of cultural tourism in the region, as well as being a centre for educational and cultural activities in the North Okanagan.     The NHL and International sized rink provides all Skating, Ringette and Hockey opportunities and serves as the home of the Vernon Vipers and visiting teams of the BCHL. Wesbild Centre, however, is more than just an icerink. There is a boardroom, and the "Grand Room" that suit meetings, banquets and birthday parties perfectly. As well, the ice can be easily transformed to accommodate an array of events such as concerts, dances and even rodeos.
