Christmas is Coming!

It's an opportunity to slow down a little and put some history into your holiday celebrations. 

The Downtown Vernon Association and the City of Vernon are offering FREE PARKING downtown on Saturdays between now and Dec 25.  There are many new shops downtown and if you haven't had a chance to check them out, hopefully the free parking will be the incentive to do so.  I'm always amazed at what is available in downtown Vernon and if you need a break, there are also all kinds of restaurants and bistros to enjoy while you check to make sure you've got something for everyone on your list. 

The snow conditions at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre and Silver Star Mountain Resort is amazing right now!  Lots happening at the Star in the runup to the holidays so put in a little exercise time and enjoy the outdoors....it's sure to justify all the indulgent food that we'll be eating over the next few weeks.
