Last night for Free Civic Sounds Concerts is Thursday Sep 1 at 7pm

The Civic Plaza in Vernon is the site for a perfect pairing on Thursday evenings when Civic Sounds echo through the downtown.  Thursday September 1 is the final evening of these extremely popular concerts.  Bring your lawn chair and enjoy!

Nothing goes together as perfectly as music and a soft summer night in the Okanagan and there will be music in the air Thursday night in Vernon. 

The Civic Plaza in Vernon is the site for a perfect pairing on Thursday evenings when Civic Sounds echo through the downtown.  Thursday September 1 will feature Orio and their contemporary rock repertoire.  If previous concerts are any indication, this music is guaranteed to get many in the audience up and ‘dancing like nobody’s watching’ while the rest  of us engage in vigorous toe tapping from our lawn chairs. This will be the final concert of the summer series and we hope they'll be back next year!  These free concerts are brought to you by the City of Vernon, Downtown Vernon Association and Wentworth Music.  The fun starts at 7pm on the plaza between the Library and Museum.   Ah… Summah-time!
