Step into the vibrant world of art amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Okanagan Valley! The Arts Council of the North Okanagan proudly presents the Rail Trail Plein Air Event, inviting artists of all ages and skill levels to unleash their creativity in the great outdoors.

You can also be a spectator and explore the Rail Trail by foot or bike and see the artists in action! Join us in Polson Park for the GoByBike Week celebration where you will be able to see all the artwork in one place.

Date: June 9, 2024

9:00 am - 2:00 pm: Artists explore the Rail Trail and paint.
3:00 pm: Artwork brought to Polson Park for jurying.
3:45 pm: Prizes awarded for each category.
5:00 pm: Event end time


Artists will venture along the picturesque Okanagan Rail Trail and find their perfect spot to paint. Bring your own art supplies and let the landscape inspire you.

Kekuli Bay Provincial Park offers accessible views close to the parking lot for those with mobility requirements. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting your creative journey, this event welcomes everyone.

At the end of the day, gather at Polson Park to help celebrate GoByBike Week with the community. Enjoy live music, relax, and unwind with a cold drink and snacks while the judges look at each piece.
