Celebrate Earth Week by turning nature into your paint palette! In this hands-on workshop, kids will explore the science of chlorophyll as they create stunning “paintings” using real leaves, flowers, and plant pigments. Through smashing, pressing, and experimenting, young scientists will discover how plants hold colour, energy, and life—all while making their own eco-inspired artwork to take home.
All youth must be registered to participate in the workshop.
Space is limited and registration required. Additional guests will be allowed into the workshop if spacing allows.
Parents/caregivers must remain with youth for the duration of the workshop as well as during their time within the Okanagan Science Centre exhibit spaces.
