Abstract Landscapes with Acrylic Inks

Prerequisite: This workshop is intended for students with some art experience (from beyond beginner to intermediate level).

Unlock the vibrant potential of acrylic ink and Evolon in this dynamic abstract landscape workshop. Through hands-on exploration, you’ll learn to create expressive, layered compositions using creative mark-making and colour mixing techniques. Discover how acrylic ink behaves on Evolon as you develop two small abstract landscape pieces, guided step by step in a supportive, creative environment.

There will be a 1-hour lunch break, please bring something to eat and drink.

This inspiring session blends playful experimentation with purposeful technique. You’ll leave with new skills, a fresh perspective, and your own original artworks.

Students should bring a couple 8×10″ or 9×12″ canvas boards, a selections of good quality flat & round brushes, a Catalyst wedge #6 or similar, gel medium, and a water spray bottle.

Most items are available for purchase at the Arts Centre. Members receive a 10% discount.
