Beaux Arts Ball

Beaux-Arts Ball: a costume/dress-up ball begun in the Bohemian milieu of the left bank in Paris, where the attendees - artists, musicians, connoisseurs, impresarios and culture hounds - came together for an evening dedicated to fabulously high style and fun. Infectious, the parties encouraged imitators in other cities.

In 1931, in New York, famous architects dressed up as their buildings and today, many art and architecture schools, museums and galleries hold similar costume balls.

All of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to raising the roof of the Greater Vernon Cultural Centre. What a great way to contribute!
