Step into a world of bubbling beakers and magical reactions in our Potion Chemistry workshop, part of MindBlown: Okanagan Science Festival. Designed for curious young minds, this hands-on experience blends a little imagination with real science as participants mix up their own “potions” while exploring the basics of chemistry.
From colour-changing reactions to fizzy, foamy creations, youth will discover how different ingredients interact and transform. With plenty of opportunities for sensory exploration, this workshop encourages kids to observe, experiment, and unleash their inner scientist (or wizard!) in a fun, engaging, and slightly messy environment.
Included in general admission rates and members are free. All youth must be registered to participate in the workshop.
Space is limited and registration required. Additional guests will be allowed into the workshop if spacing allows.
Parents/caregivers must remain with youth for the duration of the workshop as well as during their time within the Okanagan Science Centre exhibit spaces.
