Tip #1: Add A Rail Trail Adventure

Predator Ridge offers a Rail Trail shuttle that makes it easy to explore one of the most scenic sections of the trail. While it’s especially convenient for guests staying at Predator Ridge or using their courses, the shuttle is open to anyone. The experience includes a rental of one of their cruiser e-bikes and access to a 27 km stretch of the Rail Trail that runs alongside Kalamalka Lake. The shuttle drops riders off at a spectacular section of the trail, where you’ll ride past sweeping lake views, with cobble beaches around nearly every bend. The full loop takes about 3.5 hours to complete.

Along with a wide ranging menu to meet everyone’s tastes, they offer all kinds of events to make your meal more enjoyable — try their Friday night Oysters and Bubbles! You can also pick up pizzas, pastas and sandwiches at the nearby Pallino’s Italian Bistro, or try a free wine and nibbles tasting at Commonage Market throughout March.
  • 1913: Vernon Golf & Country Club’s 1913 restaurant is the perfect place to unwind, with pub-style menu selections and Friday night dinners in a relaxed and casual atmosphere — you can even catch your favourite sports teams in the lounge or at the bar on the big screens.
  • The Edge: Perched 1000 feet above Okanagan Lake at The Rise resort, the Edge Restaurant + Bar features delicious meals sourced from local Okanagan cheeseries, orchards and ranches. With floor-to-ceiling lake views and a stunning, airy architectural space, it’s the perfect setting to relive your best shots of the day and savour a meal that turns local flavours into a luxury dining experience.
