Creatrix Rising is a healing arts program of Archway Society for Domestic Peace that supports survivors of domestic and sexual violence in exploring their stories through art. Participants gain more than skills – they gain therapeutic tools, space to explore their stories, connect with others, and build confidence in their artistic voice. Their art plays a vital role in their healing journey and connecting with community.
The program culminates in the Creatrix Rising Exhibit, hosted by Caetani Cultural Centre and open to the public from March 7 to March 14, 2026. This exhibit celebrates the participants as artists sharing their story through art and bringing awareness to gender based violence. Through painting, drawing, and other mediums, the art on display reflects courage, resilience, and the power of being seen. The exhibit is a community celebration of creativity and healing, honouring the voices of survivors.
Entry is by charitable donation, supporting Archway’s programs and the continuation of Creatrix Rising.
