What's On in March

Check out our monthly round up what is going on and what the locals are up to in March. Early spring in Vernon is that magical time of year when you can ski on the mountain and enjoy the trails in the valley all in the same day. Choose your own path this March in the Trails Capital of BC.

Spring Skiing

Enjoy the finest spring alpine & cross-country skiing at SilverStar Mountain Resort and at the world-class Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre. SilverStar's closing day is April 6th so book in that spring visit now to make the most of the sunshine and snow.

Spring Hiking

Soak up the spring warmth in the Trails Capital of BC. The valley awakens in early March and makes for fantastic trail conditions and weather. Check out some great options like the Grey Canal Trail at Bella Vista, Turtle Mountain and the new Goose Lake Range Park trails.

Spring Biking

The Okanagan Rail Trail is perfect to enjoy during all four seasons. As we patiently wait for other trails to dry out, get out on two wheels and enjoy the spring air on the flat, multi-use gravel pathway connecting Coldstream and Oyama. Dogs are welcome on the trail, just make sure they are on-leash.
