In fact, our extensive trail network looks even more breathtaking with the autumn colours creeping in and the summer sun shining. 5 Must See Fall Trails

Rattlesnake Point Trail: 

This easy 1.24km trail will give you the best view of the lake of many colours (Kalamalka Lake). This trail easily connects to other parts of the Kalamalka Park network for a longer hiking experience. View Trail in Map

Middleton Mountain Loop: 

Brave a steep set of stairs but get an amazing 360-degree view of Greater Vernon. Enjoy 3.5km of lakeview, grasslands, wildflowers, and birdwatching. Great place to go sunset watching. View Trail in Map

Okanagan Lake Lookout Loop: 

Take a 2.38km hike in the Predator Ridge area for a clear view of Okanagan Lake. Trail can be hiked in both directions, bound to impress either way. View Trail in Map

BX Creek Falls Trail: 

Hide in a forest of birch and cedar trees while hiking this 3.05km trail alongside the creek. Cross 6 bridges, see the waterfall, or simply enjoy the cool air. View Trail in Map

Grey Canal: 

Once a 50km irrigation channel for local orchards and agricultural land, the historic Grey Canal now winds through eight scenic trail sections across Greater Vernon. This fall, add it to your bucket list and complete each section! Crunch through golden leaves, breathe in the crisp air, and take in unique views of the Greater Vernon area, bursting with autumn colour.

Sundog Festival

The annual Sundog Festival of Arts & Culture is back this September! Join them in Civic Memorial Park for the kick-off weekend full of live music and entertainment on September 19th & 20th. This event aims to celebrate community expression and uplift cultural experiences. Free for all ages, this is a time to come together and have fun! BX Know Your Farmer Tour

The 5th annual BX Farm Tour is happening once again on September 20th and 21st. Engage in a self-guided tour of local farmstands from 10AM - 4PM and get to know more about the local produce. The Boarding House Café 

If you’re looking to enjoy the fall vibes without the crisp air, make sure you stop by Vernon’s only board game café! Located within the downtown core, this cozy gem has something for everyone. Feel free to visit the café to enjoy a coffee and a baked treat, play your favourite board game (pay to play), or both! Jazz Hands

Ready to jazz up your evening? Get your groove on every other Saturday with an evening at the Vernon Jazz Club.

The club is welcoming several performers to their stage this fall for their Jazz Club Shows. Located on the second floor of one of Vernon’s heritage sites, this atmosphere will leave you swaying with the fall leaves. For all shows, doors open at 6:45 PM and events start at 7:30 PM.
