The John Christmas Light Tour
Each year, local realtor John Christmas has partners with the North Okanagan Neurological Association (NONA) for the John Christmas Light Tour. Each home on the list is sponsored by a local business, with all proceeds going to NONA.
Additionally, the tour includes a stop at the NONA centre at 2802 34 Street where the lights are turned on from 5-9pm December 1-31. This light spectacle is one you don't want to miss.

Vernon & Area Business Highlights
It’s not just homes that get into the Christmas spirit around the valley, businesses do too! One notable location is Predator Ridge Resort, which decorates the roundabout yearly as well as throughout the property. Come up for a drive, take a walk (or snowshoe) through their trails, enjoy a tasty meal at the Range Lounge & Grill, or stay for a few days and explore it all! Also note that they have a few fantastic upcoming events.
The lights in the village at SilverStar Mountain Resort are pretty spectacular too! Take a stroll and stop in to visit local retailers, restaurants and cafes for a treat (or get some shopping done) while enjoying the lights and crisp mountain air! Visit during their 12 Days of Holidays (Dec 21st onwards) and keep an eye out for Santa’s elves who are surprising guests with gifts! Make sure you follow their social accounts to participate.
And downtown Vernon is always beautiful over the holidays, where you can view the lights at Spirit Square each evening, walk Main Street, shop, enjoy a hot sip to warm you up and stop for a bite at one of Vernon's exceptional restaurants!
