The five-year strategic plan sets Tourism Vernon’s direction, goals and priorities for the period of January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2027. The five-year strategy will inform Tourism’s annual tactical plans, which will be reviewed by the Tourism Commission and Council on a yearly basis.
The local tourism sector is ready to raise Vernon’s profile as a premier destination in the Okanagan Valley, and Tourism Vernon’s 2023-2027 Strategic Plan intends to guide our actions in capturing Vernon’s market share of a growing tourism sector.

Tourism Vernon recognizes the continued, evolving circumstances that the local tourism industry is facing due to COVID-19 and the resulting travel advisories. Tourism Vernon’s Cooperative (Co-op) Marketing Program is an application-based program that provides marketing and promotional support to eligible tourism businesses and organizations in Greater Vernon. The program offers matching funds (up to 50%) for your marketing campaign.
