Grab some popcorn and settle back for a night at the movies at the Galaxy Theatre located in Polson Place Mall. There's plenty of parking here, and it is wheelchair accessible. They have three RealD and 3D screens with seven screens total. Click on show movies and showtimes for more information on what is playing today.
The Vernon Towne Theatre is a great place to catch a show at a great price. They are located at 2910 30th Ave in an historic building that originally opened as a dance hall in 1929 (then called "The Capitol"). Some believe the building to be haunted, but check it out and decide for yourself!
Grab the lawn chairs, bring the kids and the dogs and head out to Enderby, approximately 30 minutes from Vernon, to the Starlight Drive-In. The screen is a whopping 557 m2 (6000 sq. ft.) and is the largest in North America. They open in May and run until late September. There's a concession on site and the movies run rain or shine. The double feature movies start shortly after dusk and if you can't stay awake for the second, that's okay you can leave. Please note that this is a popular thing to do in the Okanagan, so get there early.
