Take the kids down to Teeter Totter Toys on Coldstream Ave. in downtown Vernon. Touted as the greatest toy store in the world, Teeter Totter Toys has construction toys, crafts and models, educational toys, games, puzzles, and even a solar robot.
Teach and Learn is great for educational and fun toys, game, puzzles and crafts. Located at 3105 30th Ave., they even have a science section where you can get things like sea monkeys and ant farms. There's also Lollipop Lane where you'll find 24 flavours of hard and soft ice cream and over 25 flavours of fudge!
Enjoy a bite to eat and play board games of all kinds at the Boarding House Café. They have plenty of great small meals, snacks and treats for you to enjoy while you play. Located at 3101 31 Avenue.

Take a self-guided or a guided walking tour (summer months) of our beautiful murals that show the kids the history of Vernon.
Enjoy four days of spooky fun as you and the kids explore where ghosts walk in Vernon. Your host, Gabriel David Sumegi Newman II, will take you and the kids through downtown Vernon and entertain you with stories of haunted houses, monsters, gruesome murders, paranormal anomalies and macabre historical oddities. The tour last about and hour and a half, and leaves from the steps between the Vernon Museum and the old Library.
