Take the kids out for a fresh air day at one of our farms or orchards. Pet the animals, pick your own fruit or taste handcrafted cheeses. There's a bounty of goodness at Vernon farms and orchards.
Kids and adults just love Davison Orchards in Vernon. Spend the day exploring the Davison Orchards Country Village. Get up close and personal with the orchards and the gardens. Pet a farm animal or two or take a farm tours on a train made from apple boxes. When the kids get hungry take them over to the Deep Dish Café and the bakery. After a bite to eat, wash it down with pure and fresh apple juice and then let them loose in the Crazy Cow Kids' Corral with a huge sandpit, tractors, and a tree house.
Planet Bee, located next door to Davison Orchards, is a farm of a different kind. Kids will love watching the working hive and then tasting the different flavours of honey. Planet Bee is open all year with extended summer hours. Visit their website for more details.
Grab the kids, some bags and boxes, and head out to one of our local orchards or gardens for picking some of the freshest produce ever!
