You're in the right place if you love to watch live sports. Vernon is a very active city and there are many different events and games here for you to watch.
Vernon is home to Canada's biggest Slo-Pitch tournament. Every summer Vernon hosts Funtastic; three days of 60 costumed teams who take to the fields to win games and prizes for best costume and best sportsmanship. Stick around for the night time festivities as live music, food and beverage vendors, and music lovers of all ages, take to the field to dance the night away. The Vernon Minor Softball Association returned to play in 2021. Visit their website for more information.
Take in a hockey game at Kal Tire Place and cheer on the Vernon Vipers from September to end of hockey season.
Lacrosse is big in Vernon. The North Okanagan Minor Lacrosse Association holds their Rock the House home tournaments in May and June. Come watch the Vernon Tigers Junior League lacrosse as well as Field Lacrosse.
The North Okanagan Youth Soccer Association has plenty of soccer action. You can catch their games once per week. There is also the SoccerFest and the Vernon Cup.

Hurry hard and get out to watch a bonspiel at the Vernon Curling Club. Events run from November through to April.
The Vernon and District Minor Football Association has their home games at Vernon Athletics Park.
