Echoes of the Masters | Members Show

Artistic influence connects generations in meaningful and unexpected ways. Echoes of the Masters invites members of the Vernon Community Arts Centre to present original work inspired by the artists, artisans, and movements that have shaped their creative practice.

Inspiration may come from painters such as Vincent van Gogh or Georgia O'Keeffe, ceramic innovators like Bernard Leach, or glass artists such as Dale Chihuly. Artists may also draw from influential movements, including Impressionism or Bauhaus.

The exhibition focuses on interpretation rather than imitation, encouraging artists to explore a muse’s ideas, materials, palette, or perspective while creating work that remains distinctly their own. Featuring a variety of mediums, Echoes of the Masters celebrates artistic lineage while making space for new voices.

Opening Reception: Monday, June 1 | 6–8 pm
