The Great Spallumcheen Farm & Food Festival

This Great Spallumcheen Farm & Food Festival is truly a day filled with wholesome fun, delicious food, and a celebration of farm-related activities. An opportunity to see tractor and horse drawn ploughing competitions, where skilled participants showcase the timeless art of cultivating the land, and vintage equipment displays offer a glimpse into the evolution of farming technology.  Throughout the day, demonstrations abound, with experts showcasing the process of wheat threshing, transporting visitors back to a bygone era.

Without a doubt, the heartbeat of the event lies in the tasting area where 30+ local food and beverage producers gather and offer free tastings of their locally crafted food and beverages.  These small businesses willingly setup at our event with the understanding they offer small tastings at no charge and sell their products in a market style event.  We have had a tremendous turnout by these local producers, and many return each year.
