Straight 8 Barbers Vernon First Annual Back-to-School Free Haircut Day

Straight 8 Barbers Vernon is hosting its First Annual Back-to-School Free Haircut Day on Friday, August 28, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 are invited to stop by for a free back-to-school haircut. The event is walk-in only, with no pre-booked appointments, and haircuts will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis subject to barber availability and capacity.

Families are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Vernon Community Foodbank. Donations are appreciated but are not required to receive a free haircut.

After their haircut, kids can sit in the Straight 8 race car for a back-to-school photo. A photographer will also be on site, with parent or guardian permission for photos involving children.
